Dog Park outing!

Wow!! This has been quite a weekend for me! First my foster dad comes home to visit us for the weekend and then I get to go to the dog park for the first time today!! Woohooo!! The dog park was awesome!! I think I was there to meet my playmate from last weekend and I did say "Hi" to her at the beginning but I have to admit, I was a little rude and just ignored her the rest of the time becuz there were sooo many other dogs to meet, a big pond to play in and just too much other stuff going on to just hang out with her!! I did have some manners and would go visit her parents so I don't think I lost all my manners. The dog park was sooo big and there were many games of chase I got to get in on! There was also this big pool and at first I just got my paws wet but then I watched the other dogs and saw what they were doing and I ventured in a little further!! Not all the way quite yet, maybe the next trip! I also found this fabulous mud puddle where I got to soak my front paws in but then my front legs were black!! Ms. Kim wasn't quite happy with me after that but she was happy when I went into the pool and got cleaned up!! Afterwards, I got hosed off and I loved it but I was sooo tired, I just had to lay down for awhile!! LOL!! The dog park is the bomb!! I hope I get to go again soon!! It's been an eventful week!

I've had a lot of firsts this week! First, I learned how to get up on the couch all by myself and when Ms. Kim isn't there taking up my spot, then I will beat out my other foster siblings for her spot!! She won't let me sit up there with her cuz she says something about me not being a lap dog but I just don't understand why not, I'm really NOT that heavy!! LOL!! One of these days I'll convince her as she can't resist my puppy charm!!

Secondly Ms. Kim has been testing me with new "toys" around the house! I go and grab it when she's not looking and then walk around the house with the new toy in my house!! As soon as she sees me, she starts laughing and then starts saying something about "drop it" and it's not a "toy"; she keeps calling it a shoe, food bowl or towel!! I love this new game of ours where she'll try to get it from me but I'm too quick and run away from her!! However, last couple of times, she's tricked me as she gets me distracted with treats and then she grabs the "toy" and puts it up. She said something about not having enough dish towels to last the whole week at the rate I was going. One time I even got it off the bar behind the sink!! That was tricky and she was impressed but now she hides them and they're not easy to find anymore!! Bummer!!

Well, since she's taken away the new "toys" and I wear out Lana and Mocha, I have gotten up the courage to try to get that beautiful princess girl to play with me!! This is my third thing I've tried this week!! It's a bit harder cuz princess, aka Aurora doesn't really want to play with me. She'll play with Lana and Mocha but I just don't understand why she won't play with me! I'm cute and loveable and have a lot more energy than those other two!! I'm still trying tho!! One of these days she will play with me...I just know it!! OK well that's it for my eventful week! I hear I'm going to the dog park and Mr. Carl is coming home so it should be a great weekend.

Meeting Sasha

Welp, Aunt Seana has a new foster so I'm stuck at Ms. Kim's now on the weekend. :-) However, she made up for it by taking me to meet this great older girl named Sasha! At first, I don't think she knew what to think of me coming over but eventually she couldn't resist my charm and cuteness and she started playing with me!! She wouldn't stop either...I loved it!! We went on a little walk and then played in the backyard. She has her own pool and sprinkler!! Woohoo!! She was a little protective of them but again, she couldn't resist my charm so I got to play in them too! When it started to rain we got to go inside and that's when we really got to playing!! She has lots of great toys and loved playing chase and keep away from her!! I was worn out from all the fun and excitement of meeting Sasha and her parents that I slept all the way home! Of course, once I saw Lana and Mocha again, I was rested enough to start playing again!! Hope we can meet up for a playdate at the park soon!! Here's some pics of us playing!

Another fun weekend at Aunt Seana's

One of Ms. Kim's friends, Aunt Melissa came to visit and she was sooo nice but she kept calling me Blizz or Blizzard! I kept trying to tell her my name was Faelen but she said something about me looking so much like her Blizzard so she just kept calling me that!! Oh well, she was super sweet so I let her!! :-) She also said that if she didn't already have 4 dogs (those pesky huskies!) and she didn't live in TX that I would be all hers!! Sure wish!! But I know that Ms. Kim will find me a great home here!!

After spending the day with Ms. Kim and Aunt Melissa, I got to go to Aunt Seana's place again, altho this time, we spent the whole weekend at my new best buddy's place!! Woohoo!! Raelen and I played and played and played all weekend!! I also got to meet this mini human and I really liked her!! I did really well with her as she even used me as a pillow!! I was tired on the ride home and was ready for Ms. Kim and Aunt Seana to stop talking so I could go home and go to bed, but once I saw Lana and Mocha, I got a second wind and was able to play with them a bit before I had to call it a night!!

Whew, being a puppy and playing all weekend can wear a big guy out!! :-)

Sleepover at Pet Palace

This weekend I got to do a sleepover at Pet Palace! It was really cool and the people there were soooo friendly! They said a couple of my Mally rescue buddies had stayed there too and they liked having us big guys around! While there, I got to participate in a training session where I was a "strange" dog and the other dogs had to walk around me. There was this one big girl, Miki who apparently didn't like me much but that's ok, I still had fun being in the session and getting to see my buddies, Mr. Rick and Ms. Delilah. I was soooo happy when Ms. Kim came to get me on Monday I lost all my manners and jumped on her and the counter to say "bye!" to the friendly people there!! After that, I was reunited with all my foster siblings! Woohooo!!! It's good to be back home with everyone!!

Another sleepover at Aunt Seana's

Wooohooo!! I got to go over to my Aunt Seana's again this weekend!! I think I was a bad boy tho cause one time she left me out for just 30 min to run an errand and I got a brush out of the toy box and started chewing it! It was yummy but she wasn't very happy about me doing that so the next time she went out, I was put into the crate which then I wasn't happy about and let everyone know by howling!! Hope she didn't get in trouble with her neighbors but I didn't like it when she left!

But she made up for it later as I got to meet Raelin, her 2 yr siberian husky grand-dog and it was sooo fun to play and wrestle with her!! Aunt Seana said Raelin hasn't gotten to play with any doggie friends lately so she was ready to meet me! She was a lot of fun to play with and she even got to sleepover Saturday night which was awesome!!

Then this morning, we got to go down to the beach and what a blast that was!! I loved the water and even got in as far as my chest!! Woohooo!!! I loved all the kids that came up to pet me and I just had sooo much fun!! Man, now I am totally wiped out and I'm just gonna take a nap with Aunt Seana before I go back home later tonight!

Yappy Pawz

I finally recuperated from my hard weekend at the Dog Show and I got to go to Yappy Pawz tonight! Woohooo!!! This was the first time I got to go with all of my foster siblings so that was exciting. We got lots of treats from the workers...I like this place, Natural Pawz Sugar Land!! There was also lots of puppies there and I sooo wanted to play with them but no one would let me! I just don't understand why!
